THINGS TO DO

Wineries Tour

Visit the main vineyard of Maou where you can take a walk around the property and taste, together with the wines, many other traditional products of Mykonos, such as xynotiro -a hard sour cheese, tyrovolia -the fresh sour cheese, kopanisti -a spicy, very unique in taste, cheese, louza-a ham similar to prosciutto and, finally, traditionally made raw pork sausages.

Leisure Activities

Water sports such as snorkelling and diving give explorers the opportunity to unveil the secrets of the Greek seabed. Kitesurfing, windsurfing & surfing are important sports as well, giving riders the opportunity to check out some of the most cool waves in the area.

Cultural Sites

Just a few steps behind the Old Port is the famous  Paraportiani church sited in the medieval castle of the island and consists of five smaller churches, creating a unique architectural complex. Capturing a moment here will later be one of your best summer souvenirs.

Visit the inside of 16th century Bonis' windmill , the Archaeological Museum and the Folklore museum. Finally, enjoy a stunning sunset in Little Venice admiring the Aegean sea and the old wind mills, the all time classic symbol of Mykonos.

Sailing & Snorkelling

Explore the sumptuous waters of Mykonos with a sailing and snorkelling excursion. Tragonissi or Dragonissi are islets near the east coast of Mykonos, they belong to the Cyclades complex in the Aegean Sea.

Both islets are uninhabited and rocky, making them secluded refuges for the Mediterranean monachus seals, which you might get to see whilst swimming and snorkelling in the turquoise coloured waters. Due to the seals living the water, the area is under the protection of the Natura 2000 project. Enjoy a dive in the azure waters  or relax on its secluded beach.

Delos Tour

Delos is a UNESCO world heritage site. It’s an ark of history, floating lazily on the waters of the Aegean Sea, just a few miles away from cosmopolitan Mykonos. It’s a chance to walk around the revival of the glory of the Greek civilization. It’s the head priest of the Cyclades, the birthplace of the immortals.

In the ancient times, the myth of god Apollo, god of light, and goddess Artemis having been born there rendered the island sacred: no mortal would ever be allowed to be born on its land. But, a cradle of gods as the island has been, no mortals would ever be allowed to die on it either. So, apart from it being a conspicuous religious and economic centre, the island had also been exclusive in that: even during the years of peak of the Delian Alliance, women on the brink of childbirth and people close to dying would be carried to the neighbouring island of Rineia. The whole of the known world of that age was aware of the sacredness of the island and of its uniqueness.

Horse Riding

Enjoy a memorable riding experience through unique and breath-taking scenery on the island of Mykonos, from Horseland in Ano Mera to Fokos Beach.
